Seeing beautiful pictures every day will inspire you to get out there yourself or at least open your eyes to places you never knew existed. Some of our personal favorites? @wonderful_places, @travelingtheworldd and @youngadventuress.
And us, of course.

See the sunrise, sunset and sleep under the stars.
There’s nothing like getting one on one with nature to really appreciate the beauty around us. Whether it’s a day of roughing it or glamping, we recommend City of Rocks State Park in New Mexico for some truly breathtaking views.

Explore a new city.
The outdoors are awesome, but manmade wonders can be just as impressive. The culture, food and people of cities around the globe can be a great way to expand your horizons.
One of our favorites right now? Nashville. We <3 everything Music City has to offer from the moonshine to the free live shows.

Take a staycation.
Your own town holds amazing treasures you probably don’t know exist. Do some digging on the local tourism board site to find hidden gems in your own state. In Colorado where I live, there are a number of haunted old mining towns and day hikes just begging to be explored.
Oh and that photo? That’s Hanging Lake, one of the best kept secrets in the Rocky Mountain state.

Get off the beaten path.
London, New York and Paris will always be travel mainstays, but did you know Croatia’s one of the hottest destinations right now? According to National Geographic, the Faroe Islands are where it’s at. Even Columbia’s shedding its scary image and becoming a popular spot for travelers looking to go somewhere different.

Looking for something more unique? What about the Baby Jumping Festival in Spain? Or the Road kill Cookoff in Virginia? There are even three days dedicated to duct tape in Ohio.
