Chand Baori is the world’s largest step wall, but might be best known for being the location where Batman gets imprisoned in the last The Dark Knight Rises. Located in a village near Jaipur, India, it was constructed in 800 CE and is 13 stories high with over 3500 steps. When it was really hot, villagers would walk down into the wall because it was 5-6 degrees cooler than the surface.
